This is a pre-order option with an expected delivery date of November 20th, 2022. Each piece I make is unique as the material vary in colour, pattern and shape. The image is to give you an idea of what to expect but this one of kind necklace is made with some special and rare materials.

This necklace is an Indigenous statement of wealth and status. The dentalium shell was traded across North American from the Arctic to the Plains. They were a form of currency to Indigenous peoples. The shells generally originated from the West Coast and were traded inland.

I hand sanded and polished each shell to ensure the longevity and comfort of the necklace.

This necklace is made from muskox horn. This rare material has beautiful natural motifs that really catch the eye. Each muskox piece look different due to the natural pattern of the horn.

I searched for these vintage European beads because of the beauty of their colour and shape. These beads are no longer being produced.

This powerful animal is found in the Arctic. The horn are supplied by sustainable harvesters from remote northern communities of Canada. The horns can be found on the land or are remnants from a hunt that fed a community.

Length: 34-36” so you can wear it long or double wrapped to wear it close to the neck.
