Muskox Horn Statement Beaded Necklace

This necklace is made from muskox horn. This rare material has beautiful natural motifs that catch the eye.

The pendant was hand cut and sanded to create a high polish finish. No two cuts from the horn can create the same motifs so each piece is unique.

I used vintage European beads on caribou hide to create a pop of colour on this piece.

This necklace is made with sterling silver chain and measures 18" long. The pendant measures 2” long and 3.5” wide.

This powerful animal is found in the Arctic. The horn are supplied by sustainable harvesters from remote northern communities of Canada. The horns can be found on the land or are remnants from a hunt that fed a community.
